SEPTEMBER 2014 - CONDOVER HALL

 

Year 6 had a GREAT time at Condover Hall and all the children were phenomenal.

 A HUGE Thank You to all the staff and instructors at Condover Hall who made the residential fantastic.

NOVEMBER 2014 - BLOODHOUND WORKSHOPS

On Tuesday 4th November Year 4 and year 6 pupils were given a wonderful opportunity to attend a day of Computer Science and STEM presentations and workshops linked to the Bloodhound Engineering Challenge. The Bloodhound is a project to engineer a car that will aim to beat the world speed record in 2016. An education program linked to the project, which aims to raise the profile of STEM subjects, is currently touring schools and colleges across the country. As part of this program, an education team showcased a 13 metre replica ‘Education Car’ and equipment for two additional hands-on workshops (3D Printing and K’nex Cars) This event was held at Shireland Hall Primary, which is also an academy part of The Elliot Foundation.
